Overberg Outdoor Growers - Season 2026
The Overberg has a later spring and cooler summer than inland valleys. When are you putting plants in the ground this season? What strains have performed well in the coastal plains climate?
Overberg grower near Caledon here. Our season is definitely 3-4 weeks behind Stellenbosch - I do not put anything in the ground before November. The wind is my biggest challenge, not the cold. Windbreaks are essential.
