Living Soil vs Salt Nutrients in SA Conditions

The debate: living organic soil versus bottled nutrients. In South African conditions with our unique soil microbiology, which approach gives better terpene expression? Share your side-by-side results.

Been running no-till living soil for 3 cycles now in the same beds. Key in SA is sourcing quality compost - I use a mix of mushroom compost, worm castings, and fermented plant juice from local vegetation. The terpene expression difference is real.

I did a side-by-side last season: same clone, one in living soil, one with synthetic nutes. Living soil won on flavor complexity hands down, but the salt-fed plant yielded about 15 percent more. Depends what you are optimizing for.
